Music

Recorded-Music-SSA-SiteThe Recorded Music Circle is for lovers of music whether it be early, Baroque, classical, romantic or modern. It is played on superior equipment and so the music, whether it be symphonic, orchestral, opera, choral, song, chamber or instrumental is heard with the highest quality sound.

You don’t need to be a music expert. Most of us enjoy just listening. The cost is low and we are a relaxed and friendly group. Check us out before you join by dropping into one of our meetings free of charge. For more information and let us know you’re coming, call our Membership Secretary Peter Stokes on 0121 408 6904.

Our aim is to listen to good music in good company with programmes are given by our own members.

Membership

The membership year starts in September and the annual fee is £20 that is reduced for new members joining after the start of the New Year. We also ask for a small contribution towards the break-time refreshments.

Our meetings are on two Tuesdays each month in the Sixth Form Room at Alderbrook School, Blossomfield Road, accessed via the ramp from the carpark. Programmes begin at 7:30pm, usually finishing before 10pm with a break for refreshments and a chat. There is plenty of parking at the school.
